 Looking for some advice or knowledge. First off, I have a 2000 Suzuki Esteem, 1.8L 5 speed. It is almost always hard to get into reverse (was told this can be normal). The main problem is... Secound gear can be harsh, doesnt grind but kind of thumps into gear. First can pose the same problem, rarely third also. Now sometimes I can shift from first to secound smooth as it gets but most of the time it thumps into gear. The thump is felt in the shift not the transmission or body of the car. I have gotten mixed advice could be my clutch could be my transmission or sincros (?). I am definelty hoping it is just the clutch. Oh and I have replaced the gear oil synthetic mobile 1.
